Hello all,

I'm working, among other developers, on codepage and keyboard layout support for FreeDOS (http://www.freedos.org) and I need as much mappings of codepages as I can get.

For the time being, I already have mappings of the following codepages:

1) DOS

437, 667, 668, 737, 770 ~ 775, 777, 778, 790, 808, 848 ~ 853, 855 ~ 869, 872, 895, 899, 991, 1116 ~ 1119, 1125 and 1131.

2) ISO

813, 819, 901, 902, 912 ~ 916, 919 ~ 923 and 1124.

3) Windows

1250 ~ 1257 and 1270.

4) Apple

1275 and 1280 ~ 1286.

Last but not least, HP-UX (1051), KOI8 (878), DEC (1287 and 1288) and Adobe (1276 and 1277).

Codepage mappings are generally found on dot-matrix printer user guides.

It is also possible to browse EGA*.CPI files by using freeware programs; I could explain how to do that.

I thank in advance for any feedback.

You need to refer to the ISO Standards committee. Old "printer" mappings may be out of date, as some countries change their codpages from time to time.

How about the mappings of Code Page 936 (Simplified Chinese) and 950 (Traditional Chinese)?

BTW, MS-DOS 7.10 Full Version supports these codepages:

Thanks, but I'd already tried to contact ISO, without success.

Also, thanks for the info on chinese codepages, but I'm not able to encode 16-bit codepages for DOS at the time being.
