Comment: Hi, I've had a problem with getting my audio and mouse working in DOS. I'm actualli running Windows 2000 as my main O/S, but I have DOS booting off a different HDD which I can just switch to in my Bios. ANyways I've been trying to get these two features working. I have a Creative Sound Blaster Live! Value and a Logitech USB Wheel Mouse. Now I'm pretty sure that there is no way these are ever gonna work coz I can't find DOS drivers for them. If you know anyway of getting them to work could you please help me, or let me know if it would b just better to go buy a $25 soundcard and a second hand PS/2 or COM Port mouse. I would prefer not to buy these of course but perhaps I have to. My main reason for trying is that I heard that there was a SB16 emulation on SBLIVE and that there is also a USB driver or convertor thing for DOS. Thanks for your time

Reply: Have you tried downloading sb16 drivers from soundblaster for dos? you should be able to use these are im sure all soundblaster hardware is backwards compatible with somnething as standard as the sb16. As for dos usb support, thats a new one on me!

Reply: On occassion my mouse pointer will drop to the bottom of the screen, and I will unable to move the cursor any higher than the mid way point on my screen. The funny thing is that while the pointer is showing on the lower portion of the screen I can high light the button on the menu bar (like an invisible mouse on the top part of the screen)once I re-boot the problem is corrected. I am running win 98 and using a serial mouse, I have switched to a PS/2 mouse but the problem still occurs.
